The Heineken, ‘ Live Your Music ’ party did it for music lovers and consumers in Abuja and Lagos!! Jidenna hosted the first event which was held on Friday, October 27th, in Abuja, while the finale, which served as the after-party for the Heineken -headlined Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2017, was held at the Eko Atlantic, Lagos on Saturday, October 28th, 2017. DJ Big N and DJ Neptune were in Lagos to make it a big day. There was also a musical performance by Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage.

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to sign the Not Too Young To Run Bill in the coming days. Buhari made this promise on Tuesday during a nationwide broadcast in commemoration of the nation’s Democracy Day. “In few days to come, I will be joined by many promising young Nigerians to sign into law the ‘Not too young to run’ bill,” he said. In July of 2017, almost one year ago, the National Assembly passed the bill, but it was only sent to the President for assent in April — two months after 24 of the 36 state houses of assembly endorsed it. According to the Not To Young To Run Bill, the minimum age to contest for the seat of the President shall be reduced to 35 years, while governorship and state lawmakers was reduced to 30 and 25 years respectively. Thirteen Persons Hospitalised As Explosion Rocks Akure

At least 13 persons have been rushed to the hospital after a deadly explosion hit Akure, Ondo State, on Saturday morning.         The impact of the explosion destroyed houses and tore major roads apart.  A truck carrying explosive items to a quarry was said to have triggered the blast.
