BREAKING: Another Faux Pas! Buhari Hands Over APC Flag To 'Our Governortorial Candidate

One day after erroneously claiming at a
campaign rally to have ascended power on May
19, 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari on
Thursday committed another error at a
campaign rally.
Speaking on Wednesday at the presidential
campaign rally of the All Progressives
Congress (APC) held in Lokoja, capital of Kogi
State, Buhari had told the crowd: "I assure
you that I am very aware of your appreciation
of the efforts for what we were able to deliver
since came in 19th of May, 2015."
On Thursday, at the end of his speech after
another presidential campaign rally in Warri,
Delta State, Buhari was to hand over the
party's flag to the Delta State governorship
candidate of the party,
However, he said: "I am handing over this flag
of honour to our presidential candidate."
When the man to his left corrected him, saying
"gubernatorial", Buhari responded with "to our
senatorial candidate".
Again, the man corrected him, saying
"gubernatorial". This time, Buhari said:
"governortorial candidate".

More Nigerians Return From Libyan "Slave Camps"

Another set of Nigerians numbering 164 (158 males and 6 females) returned to the country from Libya in the early hours of Friday, December 8th, 2017. The returnees, who left the country through irregular travel routes and mostly through human trafficking voluntarily returned to the country and were received by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Nigerian Immigration Services (NIS) and International Organization for Migration (IOM). The newest set of returnees landed at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) aboard a Libyan registered aircraft at about 12.40am. Justice Ademola's Voluntary Retirement Announcement Was A Ruse To Cover Up His Sack From The Nigerian Judiciary - NJC

An attempt by Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court to voluntarily retire    to beat sanctions has been decimated by the National Judicial Council (NJC) which explained on Thursday that he was compulsorily retired, with immediate effect, following a recommendation it had made to President Muhammadu Buhari. In a statement signed by Director of Information Soji Oye on behalf of the NJC Secretary, the body described Justice Ademola’s purported 'voluntary retirement' clearly as an afterthought, as the Council had taken action before his decision to forward a voluntary retirement letter. The statement followed Wednesday’s NJC meeting chaired by Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen recommended the compulsory retirement of Federal High Court judges Ademola and O. O. Tokode, for misconduct. Roy Halladay Dead At 40 After Plane Crashes In Gulf Of Mexico

Former M.L.B. pitcher Roy Halladay, who starred for the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies, has died at the age of 40 after his plane crashed in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida. A private resident reported the horrific crash to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Department at 12:06 p.m. on Tuesday and when authorities arrived at the scene, they found Halladay’s Icon A5 aircraft upside down in shallow water. While specifics of the crash are still under investigation, Sheriff Chris Nocco confirmed Halladay was the only victim. Nocco also said there was no mayday call received by the Tampa Bay airport before the crash. The Phillies released a statement on Twitter, saying, “We are numb over the very tragic news about Roy Halladay’s untimely death.
