Former President Jonathan Congratulates Wizkid On His Recent Win At MOBO Awards

Wizkid’s recent win at the MOBO Awards
has elicited responses from all over the
country – Surprisingly, former president
Goodluck Jonathan has also congratulated
him – He said Wizkid’s win has made
Nigerians all over the world proud we had
earlier reported that popular Nigerian
musician Wizkid had won the award for Best
International Act at the recently organised
MOBO Awards, the first African act to do so.
Since his win, many people have taken to
social media to congratulate him.
Surprisingly, former president Goodluck
Jonathan did the same. He took to his
Facebook page to congratulate Wizkid saying
his win has raised Nigeria’s flag high for the
positive, and not the negative;



When Nigeria does well, I cannot help but
feel well. My happiness is tied to the
happiness of Nigeria and when Nigerians
break records and take the name of Nigeria
to greater heights it exhilarates me. Thank
you Wizkid for raising Nigeria’s flag high for

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to sign the Not Too Young To Run Bill in the coming days. Buhari made this promise on Tuesday during a nationwide broadcast in commemoration of the nation’s Democracy Day. “In few days to come, I will be joined by many promising young Nigerians to sign into law the ‘Not too young to run’ bill,” he said. In July of 2017, almost one year ago, the National Assembly passed the bill, but it was only sent to the President for assent in April — two months after 24 of the 36 state houses of assembly endorsed it.
