Wendy Williams Collapses On Live TV!

Wendy Williams fainted in the middle of her show Tuesday morning ... and it happened live on the air . Wendy was dressed up as the Statue of Liberty for her show , but her Halloween costume got the best of her about 48 minutes into the show . Right in the middle of a sentence .. . she stuttered , then got wobbly on her feet before collapsing to the ground . Wendy 's show airs live on the East coast ... so when she passed out , producers quickly cut to black and then a commercial. When they returned Wendy explained she overheated from her costume . In her words, the 53 year old said “That was not a stunt. I’m overheated in my costume and I did pass out,” she told the audience. “But do you know what? I’m a champ and I’m back!”. We 've learned the fire department responded to the studio. Unclear what her condition is , but she was alright enough to finish the show . Source : Radaronline

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to sign the Not Too Young To Run Bill in the coming days. Buhari made this promise on Tuesday during a nationwide broadcast in commemoration of the nation’s Democracy Day. “In few days to come, I will be joined by many promising young Nigerians to sign into law the ‘Not too young to run’ bill,” he said. In July of 2017, almost one year ago, the National Assembly passed the bill, but it was only sent to the President for assent in April — two months after 24 of the 36 state houses of assembly endorsed it. PREMIUM TIMES has obtained the full details of how N23 billion disbursed to Nigerian universities to settle earned allowances and arrears was shared among 24 universities. University staff, members of four unions, are currently engaged in a verbal war over the modalities for sharing the money. The money was part of the N220 billion the government pledged to the schools, which is an integral part of a resolution reached to address the last strike embarked on by unions over the non-implementation of previous agreements. The sharing of the money as released by the government has resulted in a crisis among the unions. At least 13 persons have been rushed to the hospital after a deadly explosion hit Akure, Ondo State, on Saturday morning.         The impact of the explosion destroyed houses and tore major roads apart.  A truck carrying explosive items to a quarry was said to have triggered the blast.
