This one question have been bothering me, and I know it has been so with you too. Why do doctors call their profession 'Practice' especially when it has to do with #Human life. Why must our families have to sign an undertaken before we are operated on?. Have anyone ever asked him/herself this question?. Maybe the next we go to our hospitals, its time to start asking questions to these our doctors. Have your say. If you are a medical doctor, you can also shed some light to this.

President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to sign the Not Too Young To Run Bill in the coming days. Buhari made this promise on Tuesday during a nationwide broadcast in commemoration of the nation’s Democracy Day. “In few days to come, I will be joined by many promising young Nigerians to sign into law the ‘Not too young to run’ bill,” he said. In July of 2017, almost one year ago, the National Assembly passed the bill, but it was only sent to the President for assent in April — two months after 24 of the 36 state houses of assembly endorsed it. According to the Not To Young To Run Bill, the minimum age to contest for the seat of the President shall be reduced to 35 years, while governorship and state lawmakers was reduced to 30 and 25 years respectively. How 24 Universities Allegedly Shared N23 Billion Causing Fresh Crisis In Nigerian Universities

PREMIUM TIMES has obtained the full details of how N23 billion disbursed to Nigerian universities to settle earned allowances and arrears was shared among 24 universities. University staff, members of four unions, are currently engaged in a verbal war over the modalities for sharing the money. The money was part of the N220 billion the government pledged to the schools, which is an integral part of a resolution reached to address the last strike embarked on by unions over the non-implementation of previous agreements. The sharing of the money as released by the government has resulted in a crisis among the unions. At least 13 persons have been rushed to the hospital after a deadly explosion hit Akure, Ondo State, on Saturday morning.         The impact of the explosion destroyed houses and tore major roads apart.  A truck carrying explosive items to a quarry was said to have triggered the blast.
