Davido Replies Accusations That He Killed His Friends, And It's Emotional

It’s been one hectic week for Davido since the news of the death of his friends surfaced, and the singer struggles to remain positive in his response to trolls. In case you missed it: DJ Olu, the son of billionaire businessman Dapo Abiodun, was found dead in his car on Saturday along with his friend who was simply identified as Chime. Shortly after the news surfaced, Davido took to his page to mourn Olu, noting that the deceased is his friend. This news didn’t sit well with some people, because only a few days ago, another friend of Davido’s, Tagbo Umeike, died in a car and his corpse reportedly dumped at a Lagos hospital. Many people felt uncomfortable with the similarities of both scenarios, and Davido’s hypeman, Spesh, took to his page to alleged that DJ Olu was killed. I DISAGREE!!!!!!!!! THEY KNOW I SAY MY MIND!!! ASK THEM WAT THEY DID TO HIM OR WAT THEY USED HIM FOR O!!!! 👀💔😡 #STAYWOKE !! Though Spesh did not point fingers, his comment was all folks needed to troll Davido, but the singer seemingly struggles to stay positive. “God bless you,” he replied one of the trolls who hopped on his page to spew venom.

This morning, Ycee is back on twitter with similar tweets but this time he's mentioned no name. His tweets reads, 'MAJOR LABELS approaching you and claiming to help you grow? Be very very careful. A Swiss court has opened a corruption probe against Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the Qatari businessman and chief executive of Paris Saint-Germain, and former FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke. Al-Khelaifi is a key member of the organising committee for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and was described by French newspaper L'Equipe as "the most powerful man in French football". Switzerland's Office of the Attorney General (OAG) said on Thursday: "It is suspected that Jerome Valcke accepted undue advantages from a businessman in the sports rights sector in connection with the award of media rights for certain countries at the FIFA World Cups in 2018, 2022, 2026 and 2030 and from Nasser Al-Khelaifi in connection with the award of media rights for certain countries at the FIFA World Cups in 2026 and 2030."
