Guilty! Nicki Minaj's Older Brother Convicted Of Raping 11- Year- Old Girl

Nicki Minaj’s brother has been convicted of sexually assaulting his former stepdaughter when she was just 11 years old. Jelani Maraj , 38, now faces life in prison following his conviction in Nassau New York County Court on a felony charge of predatory sexual assault on a child. Maraj was accused of raping the child repeatedly while her mother was at work. According to the original indictment, the acts began on April 1, 2015, and continued until November 30, 2015, just one day before his arrest. According to reports, the girl, now 14, testified Maraj would call her “his puppet” and told her she “wanted it to happen.” She claimed he would also slap her in the face if she refused his advances. The girl’s brother, who was just 8 years old at the time , testified he saw Maraj’s “private parts” touching his sister.

He said when Maraj confronted him a short time later, the sicko slapped him across the face, and threatened he would never see his mother again if he told anyone what happened. During the monthlong trial, Maraj countered by claiming it was all an elaborate lie in an effort to extort millions from Minaj and her family, but the jury didn’t buy it. Maraj was handcuffed and taken from the courtroom after the verdict to await his sentencing.
