There is a hustle by DJ Cuppy to establish the fact that she is still in a relationship with Nigerian out of favour international, Victor Anichebe. There was a rumour about the relationship between the two having hit the rock, but like a person who had something to prove DJ Cuppy took to proving that she is still in a relationship with the footballer. The DJ took to sharing a picture of herself and the footballer where she seemed more interested in the picture than Anichebe. She also wrote “If you’re going to make up stories about @VictorAnichebe and me, please use this picture… the others are ugly.” DJ Cuppy has been heavily criticised in the past, as a lot people believe that her supposed relationship with the footballer is a social status prop. Many have wondered why the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has to stimulate a relationship, but this appears the real deal. DJ Cuppy is not the only one in a relationship prop, as her sister is also believed to be in a similar relationship with Mr. Eazi.

In Augist 2017, Nigerian rapper turned singer, Ycee called out Sony Music West Africa in a series of tweets. This morning, Ycee is back on twitter with similar tweets but this time he's mentioned no name. His tweets reads, 'MAJOR LABELS approaching you and claiming to help you grow? Be very very careful. They tried to ruin my career but we had a PLAN B. I’ll speak as much as I can to prevent others from being a VICTIM. Too many artistes stay silent and make others suffer the same cause'. A Swiss court has opened a corruption probe against Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the Qatari businessman and chief executive of Paris Saint-Germain, and former FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke. Al-Khelaifi is a key member of the organising committee for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and was described by French newspaper L'Equipe as "the most powerful man in French football". Switzerland's Office of the Attorney General (OAG) said on Thursday: "It is suspected that Jerome Valcke accepted undue advantages from a businessman in the sports rights sector in connection with the award of media rights for certain countries at the FIFA World Cups in 2018, 2022, 2026 and 2030 and from Nasser Al-Khelaifi in connection with the award of media rights for certain countries at the FIFA World Cups in 2026 and 2030."
