Security Operatives Manhandle Olisa Metuh, Deny Him Access To The State Box
Security operatives have manhandled and embarrassed the former
National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party
( PDP), Olisa Metuh, as he was turned back from entering the
state box where dignitaries are seated at the elective
convention of the party.
Trouble started when Metuh arrived the Eagle Square and
headed toward the state box where the names of the expected
dignitaries have been attached to seats. The stern looking
security stationed at the entrance told him that his name was
not on the list and he would not be allowed to enter. The
development that made him flare up and began to shout on top
of his voice. In an attempt to force himself unto the box Mr.
Metuh met a stiff resistance from the officials of Department
of State Service (DSS).
This led to a heated argument and altercation which nearly
resorted to fisticuff as a visibly angry Metuh lashing out the
arrangements.
It took the intervention of the Chairman of the National
Convention and Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, who
appealed and calmed fray nerves of the former spokesman.
He was later accompanied to the pavilion of Anambra State
delegates.
